In 1992, a heavily squalid building with a historic palace was purchased. The complex also included a motel building and several cottages. After a year-long renovation and extending works, the facility was converted into a three-star hotel, called the Anders Hotel – after the first owner of the area: the German Count Anders. At the beginning, the Anders Hotel could accommodate about 120 guests at a time. However, apart from the beautiful scenery, the hotel had nothing to offer. Year after year, the hotel extended its offer and grew in value. There appeared a small swimming pool, the hotel gained more hotel wings and conference halls.
In 2005 a big investment was finished. Thanks to it the hotel's offer was extended by next 50 rooms, a three-track bowling alley, a squash court, a new gym, a night club, 4 tennis courts. Within this investment, a modern conference hall for even 500 people was built.
Year 2007 means big investments including a modern SPA centre with a large swimming pool and the world of saunas. This year means both the restoration of the palace with its 19 rooms and building all-year-round luxurious cottages.
Today the Anders Hotel is one of the most modern facilities in Poland. It offers a possibility to accommodate even 400 people and an extremely rich spectrum of leisure facilities: the swimming pool, the centre of saunas, a bowling centre, squash, 5 tennis courts, a complex of beach volleyball courts, a marina, etc. It also offers extended conference facilities (halls for 20 to 500 people), 2 restaurants, a night club and three bars. Since May 2007 the hotel has had a new name: Anders Hotel – Resort & SPA. Since then, the hotel has had a SPA centre with 12 rooms, a new big swimming pool with attractions and The World of Masuria Saunas. The complex also includes a fitness gym, a tepidarium and a sunny meadow which makes it possible to enjoy a 'natural' sun all year round.
